TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Wisdom & Grace Sign & Notary LLC. By using our mobile notary and loan signing services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of our services and outline our policies to ensure a professional, transparent, and efficient experience.
2. Service Description
Wisdom & Grace Sign & Notary LLC provides mobile notary services including, but not limited to:
• General notary work (affidavits, powers of attorney, acknowledgments, jurats, etc.).
• Loan document signings (buyer, seller, refinance, HELOC, reverse mortgage closings, etc.).
• Mobile notary appointments at homes, businesses, hospitals, or other agreed-upon locations.
• Other legally authorized notarial acts within the state of [Insert State, e.g., Iowa].
3. Appointment Scheduling & Fees
• All notary services are by appointment only and should be scheduled in advance. If it is a time-sensitive emergency, this will be taken into consideration scheduling as soon as possible.
• Travel fees apply based on location. Final pricing will be confirmed before the appointment.
• Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed upon. Accepted payment methods include cash, card, or electronic payment (Zelle, Venmo, etc.).
• If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
4. Client Responsibilities
• Proper Identification: Clients must provide a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID at the time of notarization.
• Document Readiness: Clients should review all documents before the appointment to ensure they are complete and ready for notarization. Notaries cannot provide legal advice or draft documents.
• Willingness & Awareness: Signers must be mentally competent, aware, and willing to sign. If a signer appears to be under duress or lacks the ability to comprehend the document, the notary may refuse the notarization.
5. Legal Disclaimers
• Not Legal Advice: Wisdom & Grace Sign & Notary LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Clients should seek legal counsel for any legal questions regarding their documents.
• No Guarantee of Document Acceptance: Notarization only verifies the signer’s identity and willingness to sign. It does not guarantee that a document will be accepted by third parties.
• Right to Refuse Service: The notary reserves the right to refuse service if the document is incomplete, fraudulent, or if the signer cannot provide proper identification.
6. Confidentiality & Privacy
• All client information, including personal data and document details, is handled with strict confidentiality.
• Wisdom & Grace Sign & Notary LLC does not sell, distribute, or disclose client information to third parties, except as required by law.
7. Liability Limitation
• The notary is not responsible for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the notarized documents.
• The client assumes full responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and legal validity of their documents.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.
